Federal Regulations for Opening Accounts
Federal Law requires all banks to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies eachperson who opens an account.
What this means for you:
When you open an account, we will ask for your name, street and mailing address, date of
birth, social security or tax identification number, and other information that will allow us to
verify your identity. We will also make and retain a copy of your driver's license or other
identifying documents.
